    Who we target

    Locations
QLD, NSW and VIC, where Renewables has crews. Start with Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney and Melbourne metro plus their industrial suburbs.
    People
Age 30 to 65. Broad audience with Advantage+ on, seeded with interests in commercial property, property investment and small business ownership.
    Second test
LinkedIn: directors and owners in real estate, property management and logistics companies. Smaller budget, higher cost per lead, better fit.
    Budget

    Calculator logic

    Inputs
Roof area (m²) or system size, roof type, number of tenants, what tenants pay per kWh (default 30c), the rate you would charge them (default 20c), state.
    System size
Roof area divided by 6, capped at what the roof can take. A 600 m² roof is about 100 kW.
    Yearly output
kW × 1,400 kWh (a cautious figure for QLD, NSW and VIC).
    Income
Output × the share tenants use during the day (default 70%) × your tenant rate.
    Cost and payback
kW × cost per kW from Renewables, less the STC discount for systems up to 100 kW. Payback = cost ÷ yearly income.
    Example
100 kW → 140,000 kWh a year → about 98,000 kWh used by tenants at 20c = about $19,600 a year. At $100,000 installed that pays back in about 5 years.
    Before launch
Renewables confirms cost per kW, yield and the tenant-use share so every figure on the page is one they stand behind.

  • Nobody tells a commercial building owner they can earn by selling power to tenants. That angle is open.
  • Australian commercial ads are crowded with rebate news since 1 October, so a rebate-led ad from ISP would blend in.
  • The ads that last name the audience in the first words: "Business owners", "Warehouse owners", "Most strata committees".
  • The strongest proof is one real building with bills before and after. We need a Renewables job with figures to run that.
  • Low-commitment CTAs win: a free site assessment, a 30-second check or a calculator. Nobody asks for a meeting first.

Check before the ads go live. Selling power to tenants needs an exemption from the Australian Energy Regulator (most single buildings fit a registrable exemption) and the right metering. Renewables or an energy lawyer should confirm the pathway, and the landing page should only promise what that allows. Several Australian ads say the STC limit for the upfront discount moved from 100 kW to 1 MW on 1 October 2026, so Renewables should confirm the current rules before the calculator goes live.

Claude builds and tops up a list for each segment every week from company websites and industry directories, by state, checks it against GoHighLevel so nobody is emailed twice, and adds new companies to the queue.

  2. 2

    Claude researches every company

    • Reads their website: services, areas they cover, insurers or panels they mention, recent projects, and whether solar appears anywhere.
    • Finds the right person and role: operations manager or trade coordinator at builders and roofers, supplier or panel manager at loss adjusters, business development or portfolio manager at strata firms.

solar on your re-roofs

Hi {first name},

I noticed {company} does a lot of {re-roofs / insurance roof replacements} around {area}. On those jobs the solar usually has to come off and go back on, and that is often what holds the job up.

I run Integrated Service Partners. Our crews remove, store and reinstall solar for roofing companies across QLD, NSW and VIC, and we also quote new systems when a client asks while the roof is open.

Who looks after booking trades at {company}? I'd like to send through how we'd handle the solar on your next job.

Ben

Day 3
Ben Maynardto {first name}
re: solar on your re-roofs

Hi {first name},

A bit more on how roofers use us. When you re-roof a house or building with panels on it, we disconnect, pull them off and store them, then reinstall and test once you're done, on your schedule.

If a client asks about adding solar, we quote and install it and you keep the client. We also pass roofing work your way when our solar customers need it.

Worth a 10 minute call this week?

Day 0
Ben Maynardto {first name}
solar trade for your insurance jobs

Hi {first name},

I saw {company} handles insurance repairs {for insurer, if listed} across {area}. When a storm claim includes solar, the panels need to be removed and stored during the repair, then reinstalled and certified, or replaced, and it is hard to find a solar crew that works to builder timelines.

Integrated Service Partners does that work across QLD, NSW and VIC, with installs by Renewables. {We've also applied through your subcontractor portal.}

Could we get set up as your solar trade? I can send our insurance and licence details today.

Ben

Day 3
Ben Maynardto {first name}
re: solar trade for your insurance jobs

Hi {first name},

What we'd cover on a claim: isolation and make-safe, removal and storage while the roof is repaired, reinstall and testing with the compliance certificate, or a like-for-like replacement quote when panels are damaged.

You get one contact, and photos and reports in the format your assessors ask for.

Could I send our details through to whoever manages your trade panel?

solar on your property claims

Hi {first name},

I'm writing to ask about joining {company}'s supplier panel for solar work on property claims in QLD, NSW and VIC.

When a claim includes solar, we inspect the system and report on the cause and condition, remove and store panels during repairs, reinstall and test, or quote a like-for-like replacement. Photos and scope are written for the claim file.

We couldn't find a solar specialist in the AICLA suppliers directory, so we think there's a gap we can fill for your team. What does your supplier onboarding involve?

Day 0
Ben Maynardto {first name}
solar for your schemes

Hi {first name},

{company} manages a lot of buildings around {area}, and most strata schemes still pay full price for common-area power: lifts, lighting, pumps and car parks.

Integrated Service Partners puts solar on strata buildings to cut that bill. We prepare the proposal from the building's own bills and present it to the committee, so your team isn't doing the legwork.

Would two or three of your schemes be worth looking at as a start? I can send a one-page summary you could share with a committee.

Ben

Day 3
Ben Maynardto {first name}
re: solar for your schemes

Hi {first name},

How it works for a committee: we inspect the roof, model the savings on the building's own bills, present at a committee meeting or AGM, then handle the install, approvals and grid connection.

Your part is an introduction and forwarding the bills.

Is there a scheme with a big common-area bill that comes to mind?

Supplier and panel applications

For insurance builders, loss adjusters and strata managers that accept applications. Runs alongside the email engine, and the two refer to each other.

Rudi and Ben
  1. 1

    Build the supplier pack once

    • ABN and company details for ISP (or Renewables, depending on whose name the panel needs).
    • Public liability certificate. Most panels ask for $10m to $20m.
    • Workers' compensation certificates for QLD, NSW and VIC.
    • Electrical contractor licences in each state, and solar installer accreditation for the installers.
    • Safety documents: WHS policy, SWMS for roof and solar work, working at heights.
    • Prequalification such as Cm3 where the panel uses it.
    • Three project references with photos, ideally insurance or builder jobs.
    • A rates sheet for removal, storage and reinstall per panel and per system.
  2. 2

    Apply in this order

    Builders
Building Response Australia and Ausnorth first (both already list solar or electrical as trades), then the other builders with public subcontractor forms.
    Adjusters
Crawford Contractor Connection, then Sedgwick's networks (check the vendor page covers Australia), then the AICLA suppliers directory listing.
    Strata
Whittles and Strata Plus supplier applications.
  3. 3

    Track each application in GoHighLevel

Stages: Applied, Acknowledged, Documents requested, Approved, First job. The email bot's email 1 to that company mentions the application once it's in.

  4. 4

Sarthak chases on day 5 and day 12

Calls the trade or supplier manager to confirm it was received and asks what else they need. Script below.

  5. 5

    Onboarding call

Ben, Tyson or James walks them through how ISP handles solar on a claim, then asks for a first job to prove it.

Hi {first name}, it's Sarthak from Integrated Service Partners. You just checked the solar numbers for your building on {street}. Have I caught you at an OK time?
If yes:
Great, I'll be quick. A few questions so the numbers are right. Do you own the building, and are you planning to hold it for a while?
How many tenants are in there, and do they each pay their own power bill?
Is the roof metal or tile, and is there any solar on it already?
Thanks. The next step is a free site visit from our install team at Renewables. They'll check the roof and switchboard and come back with exact figures for the cost and what you'd earn from tenants. Does {day} or {day} suit better?
Done. I'll text you the time now. If you can have one or two recent power bills handy, and a tenant's bill if they're metered separately, that helps.
If they are a tenant or agent, not the owner: thank them, ask who owns the building and whether they can introduce us, and tag them in GoHighLevel.
After email 3, roofers (swap the middle line for other segments)
Hi, is that {first name}? It's Sarthak from Integrated Service Partners. Ben sent you a few emails about handling the solar on your roofing jobs. Did they land with you?
Whatever the answer:
No worries. Short version: when you re-roof and there's solar on it, we pull it off and put it back on to your schedule, and we quote new systems when your clients ask. Is that something you run into?
If yes:
How do you handle it at the moment?
Listen, then:
Would a 15 minute call with Ben and our install lead be worth it, to see if it fits how you work? I've got {day} at {time} or {day} at {time}.

Insurance builders: "...about being your solar trade on insurance jobs. Who manages your trade panel?" Loss adjusters: "...about joining your supplier panel for solar on property claims. Who handles supplier onboarding?" Strata managers: "...about solar on a few of the buildings you manage. Is there a scheme with a big common-area power bill?"

Getting past reception
Hi, it's Sarthak from Integrated Service Partners. Who looks after organising trades and subcontractors there?
Could you put me through to {name}? It's about handling the solar on their jobs.
If not available:
No problem. What's the best email for {name}, and is there a better time to catch them?
Panel application chase
Hi, it's Sarthak from Integrated Service Partners. We applied through your supplier portal last week for solar work and I just wanted to check it came through.
Is there anything else you need from us, like insurance certificates or licences? And who decides which suppliers get added?
Would it help if Ben ran through how we handle solar on a claim? 15 minutes, {day} or {day}.
Voicemail (leave one, on the second attempt)
Hi {first name}, it's Sarthak from Integrated Service Partners, following up Ben's email about {the solar on your jobs / your supplier panel}. I'll send you an email with my number. Thanks.
Objections
"We already have a solar guy."
That's fine, most do. Do they work to your timeline on removals? A lot of builders keep us as a second option for when their usual crew is booked out. Can I send our details so you've got us on file?
"Just send me an email."
Will do. So I send the right thing, is it more removal and reinstall, or new systems, that comes up for you? Then book a follow-up call for after they've read it.
"Not interested."
No worries. Is that because solar doesn't come up on your jobs, or the timing's off? If timing, set a 90 day follow-up in GoHighLevel.
"Who are you?"
We're a solar business set up to work with builders, roofers and property companies. The installs are done by our team at Renewables across QLD, NSW and VIC.
"What's in it for us?"
Depends how you'd like it to work. Some partners refer jobs and get a fee, some bill the solar through their own job. Ben goes through both on the call.
"How much does it cost?"
Every roof is different, so we price it after a site visit or from the claim scope. I can get you a figure within {X} days once we have the details.

Meetings and the relationship manager

Ben, Tyson and James run the meetings. The relationship manager keeps partners sending work after the first job.

Ben
  1. 1

Partnership call, 15 to 20 minutes

    • Who they are, how much work they do and where.
    • How often solar comes up on their jobs and how they handle it now.
    • How we'd work together: they refer and we pay a fee, or we subcontract and they bill the client. Terms to be set by Ben before the first call.
    • Next step: a first job to prove it, with a named contact on each side.
  2. 2

    Within 24 hours

    • Summary email with what was agreed, our supplier pack and one-page overview.
    • Partner account in GoHighLevel: type, terms, contacts, regions, jobs referred, revenue and the next catch-up date.
    • Introduction to the relationship manager.
  3. 3

    Relationship manager cadence

    First job
Updates at every stage until it's finished, photos at the end.
    Monthly
A call or visit with each active partner and a short report: jobs referred, status, invoices.
    Quarterly
Lunch or dinner with the key partners. Loss adjusters and strata managers first, since that's where relationships decide the work.
    Every year
Review terms and ask for introductions to other offices or managers.

Hand-off to Renewables

The same checklist for every job, so nothing gets lost between ISP and the install team. The timeframes are for Ben to agree with Tyson and James.

Ben
What ISP hands over
  • Contact and decision maker, with the best time to reach them.
  • Site address, building type, roof type and size, photos if we have them.
  • Power bills and tenant metering details for commercial owners.
  • Claim number, scope and assessor contact for insurance work.
  • Where the job came from (partner, ad or email) so fees are paid correctly.
  • Timeline and anything promised to the client.
What Renewables commits to
  • Site visit booked within {X} business days.
  • Proposal or claim quote within {X} business days of the visit.
  • Stage updated in GoHighLevel at each step: visit booked, visit done, quote sent, won, installed.
  • ISP stays the client's main contact. Renewables doesn't sell to ISP partners directly.

What Ben needs to confirm

Everything above can be built once these are settled.

Ben
  • Who signs the emails (Ben, or someone at ISP) and the sending domain to buy.
  • ISP's ABN, insurance, licences and accreditation, or whether panels contract with Renewables directly.
  • Partner terms: referral fee or subcontract margin, and how they are paid.
  • Sarthak's start date and arrangement.
  • Renewables' cost per kW, yield figures and the site visit and quote timeframes.
  • The AER exemption pathway for selling power to tenants.
  • Three real projects with photos and figures for the landing page and supplier pack.
  • Who the relationship manager is.
